(testing... left, right, center.) Here's a sound That is pleasant to hear Here's a few words That you'd like to hear Among the dust and lust A swirling sound blooms Intricate and diverse As the feelings that surround you... Make a wish Make it true Make it nice It'll bloom for you In tune...

about

Copper Wires is a tribute to this soft, malleable, and ductile noble metal of very high electrical conductivity within these wonderful things known as 'modern technology'. Did you ever stop to realise how nearly everything we use on a daily basis became possible and rely on copper wires? this often negligible component is found in the very screen you are looking at to read this, it is resposible for bringing you the internet you are using right now and above all made possible the creation of this small set of short electronic-ish tunes I bring you. *Note for people in the future*: it might happen that copper wires are no longer used at the time you are reading this.

The year is 2019 and this is my first album since Soilbeat in 2006. It actually represents the height and ending of an era for me. These melodies were actually created when I was around 17 to 18 years old, in a period of great experimentation and maturing of my senses regarding electronic music, in new ways I could manipulate soundwaves to achieve pleasing results. At the time, I was held inbetween two worlds - an unfolding world of organic, real life musical instruments; and that of infinite possibilities of computer made music with its modulations, synths, FXs, samples, and so on, a legacy held in my mind since I first ventured into finding out what a ".MOD" was in the early 2000s.

For 12 years these were stored as unfinished projects in a hard disk. Eventually, I realised these actually belong together as authentic expressions of my youth exploring the unknown with these music-portals; because that's what music really is, a portal that transports you elsewhere momentarily.

His reaching for a captivating sense of spirituality is an innate quality of the music that is made. He also writes his Bandcamp bio in third person. ... more
